   • Vehicle intake - Tag keys - Preliminary Estimate of Repairs

   • Waiting for insurance company authorization - Digital photos taken

 

2. Repairs Begin

  • Work File Created

  • Vehicle assigned to a technician in order of arrival

  • Technician disassembles vehicle and inspects for further damage

  • Repair plan completed

3. Body Shop/Repair Process

   • Order parts

   • Body repairs begin

   • Mechanical repairs begin

   • Inspect repairs and send to paint

4. Painting/Refinish/Polish

   • Inspect body repairs completed Sealers applied - Vehicle masking

   • Prepare vehicle for paint - Sanding - Apply primer

   • Vehicle in paint booth - Apply paint & clear coat - Paint drying

   • Painted surfaces are polished

   • Pinstriping applied - Rockguard - Two tone paint

   • Bumpers polished

5. Reassemble Vehicle

   • Vehicle reassembly begins

   • Installation of lamps, Air Conditioning, Install moldings, grills,

     doors, trim pieces, etc. - Mechanical work

   • Front end alignment - Electrical & AirBag replacement

   • Vehicle test drive and fluids check completed

6. Clean Vehicle

   • Wash - Vacuum - Make ready

   • Painted panels waxed as needed

7. Quality Assurance

   • Service Advisor performs quality control inspection

   • Preliminary Final paper work generated

   • Customer notified when vehicle is ready

8. Vehicle Ready

   • Visit collision center - Customer inspects completed repairs

   • Complete final paperwork & warranty

   • Review customer satisfaction survey
